Job Summary
The Senior Sourcing Specialist will play a key role in creating value by providing strategic input into the development and implementation of sourcing strategies. This will involve supporting clients across the organization and driving initiatives to meet sourcing objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills, as well as experience in purchasing, maintenance, engineering, or project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Executes the sourcing process for complex commodities, ensuring high ethical and financial control compliance standards are met.
- Drives initiatives to meet sourcing objectives, including identifying and qualifying new suppliers.
- Supports Category Managers in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
- Articulates LYB procurement policies and standards, ensuring compliance across the organization.
Requirements
- Master's degree in sciences or engineering (Technical Degree) or comparable technical degrees.
- 3+ years of work experience in purchasing, maintenance, engineering, or project execution.
- Fluency in French and English, with a third European language a plus.
