European Project Coordinator
Our organization is seeking a dedicated European Project Coordinator for a permanent role.
We engage in diverse initiatives both nationally and internationally aimed at empowering underprivileged youth and families by rebuilding their self-esteem. On an international scale, we partner with local organizations and networks that align with our mission and values across four key areas: Child Protection, Family Support, Vocational Training and Integration, and Global Awareness.
Within the International department, the International Exchange team is committed to providing young individuals, families, and staff with opportunities for intercultural experiences, solidarity initiatives, and international collaboration.
Reporting to the Head of International Exchange and Advocacy, your key responsibilities will include:
1/ Develop and oversee youth exchanges across Europe and manage funding applications
- Collaborate closely with existing and potential European partners
- Assist in preparations for departures, reconnaissance missions, and follow-up activities for youth exchanges
- Supervise the hosting of European volunteers
- Lead the European Solidarity Corps Program, focusing on technical, administrative, and financial management
- Engage with the European volunteer community and mentors (including welcoming and training)
2/ Facilitate professional exchanges among partners
- Co-organize an annual professional exchange with European partners through the Erasmus+ Accreditation
- Contribute to the development of new projects involving European partners and assist in project proposals
3/ Support partnership initiatives
- Identify new partners based on institutional requirements and exemplary practices in Europe
- Enhance, evaluate, and adjust current partnerships in accordance with the Foundation's partnership strategy
- Engage in strategic discussions concerning European initiatives
4/ Contribute to the activities of the International Exchange team and the overall strategy
- Participate in meetings and discussions relevant to the team's and International department's strategic direction
- Facilitate networking with International Exchange managers in the region and promote European opportunities within the Foundation
About the Organization
Our organization is a dedicated entity in the social and solidarity economy, with a church-based origin, operating programs for accommodation, support, education, training, and integration for 40,000 children, adolescents, and 8,000 vulnerable families across nearly 400 establishments in France.
