Sellermania is a prominent Software as a Service (SaaS) provider dedicated to assisting e-commerce merchants in distributing their products across European and global marketplaces. Our robust GNU/Linux infrastructure ensures high availability for mission-critical and intricate processes, which involve extensive pricing and feed calculations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, organizing, and modifying the company's IT systems. This individual will evaluate and assess systems to guarantee optimal performance. Based on these evaluations, the candidate will leverage acquired knowledge to make necessary adjustments to existing systems.

Infrastructure Oversight:

  • Administer our Proxmox cluster in alignment with project specifications.
  • Enhance both production and pre-production environments.
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and applications.
  • Oversee the infrastructure of multiple hosts operating hundreds of virtual machines, including Ceph cluster, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Pfsense, Kafka, Spark, HaProxy, Apache, Nginx, S3/minio/JuiceFS.
  • Manage and implement configuration management tools (Ansible, Saltstack).

Application Assistance:

  • Deliver infrastructure support for the Java and PHP/Symfony backend, as well as the PHP/Symfony frontend.
  • Set up and configure Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools to optimize development and deployment workflows (utilizing GitHub for code management).
  • Establish and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for proactive error detection and resolution (Zabbix, VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, OpenObserve).
  • Develop and implement comprehensive backup strategies to ensure data integrity and facilitate rapid recovery in the event of failures.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in installing, maintaining, and monitoring complex infrastructures for SaaS applications.
  • Expertise in high availability architectures and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
  • Proficient in server management, networking, and security protocols.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience with scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator.
  • Certification as a System Engineer.
