Key Responsibilities:

As a Systems Infrastructure Engineer, you will become an integral part of our enthusiastic IT team, which operates across various regions:

  • France - Primary R&D hub (compute farm, continuous integration, testing devices)
  • UK - Demonstration site for data solutions clients and development
  • USA (CA) - Client demonstration site for data solutions

Your team manages a fleet of over 400 machines across different environments (Windows & Linux) and is committed to optimizing and consolidating this infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • System and network administration (configuration, backup, monitoring, diagnosis, troubleshooting)
  • Enhancing the information system and its security
  • Implementing new services
  • Providing user support

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in system and network administration on Linux (RedHat and Ubuntu) and Windows for standard server functionalities (DHCP, DNS, NFS)
  • User support for desktop operations on Windows and Linux
  • Familiarity with identity management systems like RedHat IDM and AzureAD
  • Understanding of firewall appliances, VPNs, and switch management
  • Solid knowledge of virtualization environments such as VMWare ESX
  • Experience with backup solutions including Miria, Veam, and Metallic Commvault
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
  • Skilled in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation
  • Management of Office365 solutions
  • Experience with computing clusters like Slurm
  • Familiarity with server hardware for infrastructure scaling
  • Experience in transitioning to ISO27001
  • Profile:
  • Bachelor's to master's degree (Bac+ 3 to 5) in computer science
  • 10 years of IT experience or 5 years in a similar position
  • Technical proficiency in English
  • Service-oriented approach
  • Passion for IT and information systems
  • Strong collaborative skills
