Position Overview:
As a Corporate Lawyer at ENGIE Renouvelables, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Renewables Global Business Unit (R-GBU) in advancing our asset development initiatives. Your expertise will contribute to our goal of significantly increasing our installed capacity by 2030.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft and negotiate M&A transactions in France, covering both buy-side and sell-side aspects, from the due diligence phase through to post-closing activities.
2. Implement and oversee partnerships by drafting and negotiating shareholders agreements.
3. Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including non-recourse financing agreements, ensuring legal compliance throughout the financing process.
4. Review Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) across various geographies.
5. Engage in cross-functional governance issues within the companies.
6. Support operational teams and management by identifying legal risks and providing actionable recommendations.
7. Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws and internal policies, fostering a culture of compliance.
8. Establish and promote sound legal and ethical practices in all operations.
9. Manage relationships with external legal counsel.

Qualifications:
- Law degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within an international law firm.
- Proficiency in both French and English.

- Ability to deliver clear and pragmatic legal opinions.
- Exceptional writing and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented yet capable of working independently.
