Job Description

As a PhD Researcher in Brain Function Modeling at INRIA, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge research in neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and apply advanced machine learning techniques to analyze and model brain function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze large-scale brain imaging datasets to identify core structures of brain networks
  • Develop a multi-resolution dictionary learning strategy to decompose brain data into sparse but structured regions
  • Associate semantics with components by investigating stable predictive associations between cognitive annotations and brain components
  • Learn the dependence structure of the model and propose a scheme for adapting the model to new individual data
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Neuroscience, or a related field
  • Strong background in machine learning, neuroscience, and programming (Python)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate complex ideas effectively

Remuneration
