ESG Climate Strategist

As an ESG Climate Strategist at Natixis NY Branch, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in their liability-driven investments. Our team uses a cross-cutting approach to CSR and ESG issues to promote our role as a committed transition partner for all our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Deploy our climate strategy aimed at aligning our investment portfolios on a net zero trajectory to 2050, taking into account sector and geographical specificities.
- Collaborate with credit management and analysis teams to integrate climate issues into investment decision-making.
- Define sectoral commitment frameworks to support companies investing in their climate transition.
- Develop climate change risk and opportunity studies on sectors and companies invested.
- Conduct regulatory and technological monitoring on climate issues.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a higher education and at least 3 years of experience in similar positions within a financial institution, company, or data provider. You should have a strong understanding of climate issues, mechanisms for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, sectoral decarbonisation trajectories, and international climate policies. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential.
