Operational Risk Management Role

We are seeking a skilled Operational Risk Management professional to join our team at MUFG. As a key member of our risk management framework, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing operational risks, reviewing and challenging operational risk management, and collaborating with our EMEA and MBE risk teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the first line of defence in identifying and assessing operational risks
  • Review and challenge operational risk management as a second line of defence
  • Lead risk and control self-assessments, control attestation process, and scenario analysis
  • Build collaborative relationships with colleagues in the first line of defence and advise on operational risk matters
  • Track and monitor events, issues & actions logged on our GRC tool
  • Prepare meaningful reports for the Management Board
  • Support the Head of ORM with the wider ORM agenda, including ad-hoc projects, risk appetite, risk governance, and committee work
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of relevant work experience in operational management with a financial institution
  • Academic degree in a relevant field of study
  • Fluent language skills in English
  • Stakeholder management
  • Experience in dealing with Senior Management
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS office products
  • Ability to challenge and ask questions
  • Proactive self-starter, able to handle diverse workload
  • Working knowledge of GRC tool (preferable)
