We are looking for a highly motivated Clinical Field Engineer to contribute significantly to our organization. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital technical and administrative resource for our clinical studies. This role involves planning and facilitating the testing of clinical devices and procedures at various sites. As a bridge between healthcare facilities and our organization, the Clinical Field Engineer must communicate effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the success of our clinical research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the implementation of clinical trials at Science Corp and associated clinical sites.
- Provide training and technical assistance for device calibration and re-education at clinical locations.
- Act as a communication link between Research & Development, medical professionals, and healthcare providers.
- Oversee and support implantation procedures and psychophysical assessments at clinical sites.
- Manage data entry and document any deviations or adverse occurrences.
- Offer guidance on the formulation of clinical protocols, Case Report Forms (CRFs), and Patient Informed Consent documents.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols, data analysis, and reporting.
- Supply necessary documentation for Regulatory Submissions and oversee the submission process.
- Assist the sales team following device approvals.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with a diverse audience in English.
- Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 50-75% of the time.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and locations to meet clinical demands and site requirements.
- A relevant scientific degree (minimum Bachelor’s, preferably Master’s in Engineering or Medical Science).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in French, German, or other European languages.
- Local residency near our operational base or a flexible home base in Europe.
