Food and Beverage Director

Arev is a people-based hospitality brand, creating beautiful, luxury places for guests to pause their busy lives and live the unexpected.

The Food and Beverage Director will oversee the entire restaurant and bar department, ensuring its smooth running and exceptional culinary experience for our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage Daily Operations: Efficiently and effectively manage the daily operations of the hotel's restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and events.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure exceptional customer service and a top-notch dining experience according to Arev brand identity standards.
  • Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with our exclusive partner to develop unique and innovative offerings while ensuring consistency in the customer experience.
  • Establish Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners to optimize resources and continuously improve our services.
  • Train and Supervise: Train and supervise restaurant staff to ensure high-level service.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase the profitability of the restaurant and bars.
  • Manage Purchasing: Manage purchasing and ordering by collaborating with suppliers to ensure a supply of quality products.
  • Organize Events: Manage and set up F&B events (organization, scheduling, promotion...).
  • Control Costs: Control costs, manage budgets, and ensure financial profitability of the food and beverage department.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations according to local regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay Updated: Stay updated on market trends and developments in the hospitality and restaurant industry to propose constant innovative ideas and improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or Restaurant Manager within the hospitality and restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge of Local Regulations: In-depth knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations, as well as local restaurant regulations.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work under pressure and effectively solve problems.
