As a visionary leader within the retail sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and innovation within the Fresh Produce department. Reporting directly to the Director of Fresh Produce Marketing, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of areas, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement new concepts and products within the Fresh Produce department, collaborating closely with section managers and their teams.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and trends, staying ahead of industry developments.
- Oversee promotional activities, pricing strategies, and commercial events within your sector, driving sales performance and revenue growth.
- Manage product flow in coordination with our distribution platform, ensuring effective merchandising and budget control.
- Conduct store audits to assess commercial aspects, procedures, administrative management, and stock control.
- Participate in annual negotiations with suppliers, securing competitive pricing and product availability.
- Collaborate with various departments within the company, contributing innovative ideas for store remodeling projects.
- Work closely with the Group's Training Department to develop training programs for your sector, identifying employees for skill development and conducting training sessions as required.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with:
- A passion for retail and at least 3 years of experience in the sector.
- Merchandising expertise and strong managerial skills.
- Experience in managing multiple sites would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
