As a trusted advisor, you'll partner with AWS specialist sales, business development, and product teams to execute a go-to-market strategy, ensure the success of our most complex customer engagements, and contribute to the collective expertise needed to drive database, analytics, and machine learning workloads.
We are looking for highly skilled database architects with hands-on experience in a variety of commercial, open-source, relational, and non-relational databases. You will work closely with our customers and partners to migrate their existing database platforms and applications to the cloud.
You'll join a dynamic, pre-sales team dedicated to bringing cutting-edge cloud computing technologies to address the cost and agility challenges faced by organizations worldwide.
The ideal candidate thrives on engaging with customers. You are passionate about collaborating in a pre-sales capacity, designing and building cloud-based database architectures, and proactively identifying and removing roadblocks to success for some of the world's leading companies.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with AWS field sales in France to support customers with their database workload challenges.
- Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams to drive the best outcomes for our clients.
- Thought Leadership – Produce and validate content like reference architectures, best practice blogs, and other valuable resources.
- Capture best practices from engineering and field teams, share patterns and solutions across the organization.
- Collaborate with AWS field teams to build a strong worldwide database and analytics community.
- Proven experience in relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with AWS database services (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB).
- Knowledge of data modeling and design principles.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
