We are seeking a highly skilled IT Core Manufacturing Digital Expert to join our team at Nexans. As a key member of our Industrial Digital Transformation Center of Excellence, you will play a crucial role in driving the digital transformation of our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement innovative IT solutions to support manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Lead or manage IT projects from design to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop functional specifications for IT solutions.
- Supervise the support of applications in your scope, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and central IT/IS, industrial, and program stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of functional prerequisites.
- Monitor and ensure standardization of IT solutions within the concerned area, promoting a homogeneous transversal communication with the business and IT.
- Guarantee a good documentation of implemented solutions in the relative plants, ensuring knowledge transfer to operational teams.
- Consolidate data for information security risks analysis or for architectural purposes, ensuring a secure and homogenous environment.
- Industrial engineer with software developing skills.
- Years of experience in project management & deployment of software applications.
- Recognized expertise on MES tool management, ideally Aveva one.
- Experience in an international, multicultural, and multi-site environment.
- Experience and knowledge of relevant business processes (production, supply chain, logistics,...) and implementation in relevant software.
- Outsourcing management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, with ability to address complex technical issues.
- Curiosity and innovation.
- Autonomy and initiative.
- Ability to popularize technical concepts.
- Communication & storytelling skills.
- Willingness to travel between Nexans plants.
- Fluent in English, French is an added value.
