Accounting Specialist

Körber Pharma Software GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance-related activities of our company, including reporting to the group and audits.
Your Role in Our Team- Setup and maintain in-house accounting systems, ensuring compliance with commercial and tax laws.
- Perform thorough checks and account assignments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner.
- Regularly reconcile accounts and clarify open items to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support the creation of intercompany invoices and reconcile settlements between affiliated Group companies.
- Control, process, and pay travel expense reports.
- Prepare and execute payment transactions, as well as maintain liquidity control.
- Implement effective receivables management practices.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare documents for annual tax returns, working closely with our tax advisor.
- Transfer local accounting to the German group and prepare reports according to HGB.
- Coordinate tax matters with the local tax advisor and Group Tax.
- Communicate with auditors and tax advisors, as well as collaborate with finance colleagues from the German parent company.
- Completed commercial training or studies in business administration.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably within an international group of companies.
- Experience in controlling is desirable.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Work experience in English is required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, tax, and travel expense law.
- Proficient in the MS Office package.
- Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to work.
- Structured process and goal orientation, with a high level of responsibility and cost awareness.
