EUROAPI is seeking a skilled Category Buyer to join our Procurement team. As a Category Buyer, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of quality products that contribute to our global commitments of improving our environmental footprint and achieving procurement excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve substantial savings and drive business performance.
  • Build and propose budgets that support EUROAPI's financial objectives and drive performance KPIs.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the spend for the covered categories and anticipate market trends.
  • Engage with technical lead specifiers from operations to define the most appropriate approach process to create conditions for efficiency.
  • Deliver saving objectives at portfolio perimeter and promote attractiveness of EUROAPI and reinforce the relationship with suppliers.
  • Ensure procurement technical excellence (Total Cost Ownership, Supplier Relationship Management, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality).
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in procurement within an industrial/FMCG company where the purchasing function is mature, performing, and seen as strategic.
  • Business and/or engineering executive education (University, School of Management, postgraduates programs).
  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experienced negotiator, highly flexible with a strong capacity to adapt.
