About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in France. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for driving the technical relationship with our customers, providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the technical relationship with customers
  • Providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures
  • Acting as an advocate for customers to drive continual improvements to the AWS platform
  • Sharing customer needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS services and features
  • Helping to shape the future of the Solutions Architecture organisation
  • Defining or inventing cloud-native reference architectures with the worldwide AWS Solutions Architect community
  • Participating in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures
  • Evangelising and educating about AWS technology

A Day in the Life:

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be part of an account team consisting of Account Managers and other Solutions Architects. You will occasionally work with other teams, such as Service Teams, Professional Services, Support team, Public Policy, and Marketing. Your customers will be Public Sector customers and partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Background in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering, or DevOps
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with business-fluent French and English
  • Passion for technology and for learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing, building, refactoring, or operating IT systems - either on premises or in the cloud
  • Working knowledge of cloud native architectures
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Experience working in or with the Public sector (central and local government, national security, and defense)
  • AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certification
