About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Economist and Environmental Policy Specialist to join our team at the Ministère de l'Économie, des Finances et de la Souveraineté industrielle et numérique. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing economic data and developing policies related to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct economic analysis and develop policies related to biodiversity, water resource management, and forestry.
  • Participate in international negotiations and prepare French positions on economic and financial issues related to biodiversity.
  • Collaborate with other services, ministries, and external organizations to develop and implement sustainable development policies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in economics, environmental science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in economic analysis and policy development.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental economics, policy analysis, and sustainable development.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
