Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled A330 MRTT Customer Service & Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Airbus Defence & Space SAS in Istres, France. As a key member of our local support team, you will provide expert technical support and customer service to the French Air Force, ensuring the smooth operation of their A330 MRTT fleet.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide local expertise to the French Air Force, advising on all activities relevant to MRTT Technical office and local CAMO support.
- Assist with Aircraft On Ground (AOG) and incident inquiries, providing guidance to resolve any relevant troubleshooting and support their performance of maintenance tasks.
- Deliver a filtering function to avoid misinterpretations during communication, ensuring seamless collaboration with the customer.
- Stay current on maintenance progress, providing technical assessments on frequent spare parts/GSE requests that may impact aircraft availability.
- Continually assess the aircraft fleet operational activity and report any relevant support issues, ensuring the customer receives timely and effective support.
- Investigate all significant System & structure in-service technical issues to collect related information and deliver these within complete and detailed Technical queries.
- Follow-up all technical information published by Authorities and/or Airbus DS (SB, SIL, AOT...) cross-checking the applicability by aircraft.
- Prepare recommendations for French Air Force (FAF) CAMO and French Ministry of Defense (FEX —Fiches exploitation), ensuring alignment with continued airworthiness referential.
- Load into AMASIS or other Military Information System CAMO/Part145 data following A/C deliveries, hand-backs, working parties, and ageing data associated to spare parts delivered to FAF.
- Work with all Airbus Support Centre team members in accordance with Airbus code of conduct, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective support delivery.
- Liaise with FAF to collect and provide reliability data to Airbus DS Center of Competences (CoCs) for reliability report generation.
Requirements:
- Education: Aeronautical engineering degree level or EASA PART 66 AIRBUS A330 rated with RR Trent 700.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a Part 145 or Part M in an airline and/or MRO organization.
- Expertise: Familiar with Airnav usage, knowledge of AMASIS or equivalent software mandatory.
- Skills: Highly motivated by customer support, good interpersonal and communication skills, ability for team working in a challenging environment.
- Language: Negotiation level of French mandatory, negotiation level of English.
