About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at ABB. As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our local trade policies, guidelines, and instructions are aligned with corporate and business area regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure that local trade policies, guidelines, and instructions are in-line with corporate and business area regulations and are properly followed by the respective businesses.
  • Implement and maintain a general export control and customs compliance awareness program for local business staff and provide trade-related training to employees.
  • Work with the CTCO, Information Systems (IS) management, and local Business management to ensure effective use of SAP's Global Trade Services (GTS) compliance and customs modules.
  • Validate the accuracy of financial data and business information and reports through reconciliations and review of exceptions.
Requirements
  • Team player with good communication skills, capable of communicating in English, French, and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
