Job Title: Global Sourcing Manager - Chemicals

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Manager - Chemicals to join our team at Groupe Lactalis. As a key member of our Procurement Organization, you will be responsible for leading the Formulated Chemical categories and driving strategic projects to optimize quality, service, costs, innovation, and cash performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and execute global sourcing strategies for Formulated Chemicals
  • Lead transformation projects for the categories, including market analysis, spend analysis, and cost modeling
  • Develop and maintain expertise on market trends, supplier capabilities, and category risks
  • Lead a functional network of regional/local buyers and manage Lactalis's coverage of supply
  • Accountability for supplier selection and development, including negotiation and performance management
  • Contribute to the Lactalis sustainable roadmap and identify opportunities for long-term development
  • Manage purchasing budgets and risks to support the company's rapid growth
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, commodities, and/or industrial expertise in an international environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strategic vision
  • Natural connector with the ability to build a network to support business goals
  • Able to set priorities, take distance, and be pragmatic
  • Tenacity, with strong adaptation and relationship capabilities to gain credibility and create an efficient network
  • Professional sourcing experience or education background that provides relevant knowledge in purchasing
  • Strong understanding of the FMCG market across different cultures
  • Able to align strategy and stakeholders around identified and new business opportunities
