Position OverviewWe are expanding our product development team and seeking a skilled Packaging Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing 3D packages for our Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs), which interface with optical fibers and electronic circuits. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop 3D packages for PICs, leveraging existing SolidWorks libraries and 3D drawings.
- Liaise with assembly partners and photonic/electronic circuit designers to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Rigorously document changes to packages and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to guarantee quality and reliability from prototyping to production.
- Proven expertise in SolidWorks and semiconductor circuit packaging.
- Knowledge of micro-optics/fiber optics assembly technologies and processes.
- Understanding of mechanical, thermal, and reliability constraints.
- Excellent communication and synthesis skills, with the ability to work in an international environment.
Fluency in English (C1 level or equivalent) and French (C1 level or equivalent) is required.
Professional ExperienceA minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position is necessary.
