Job Opportunity: Senior Energy Efficiency Country Expert

NTU International A/S is seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Efficiency Country Expert to support our team in the development of national energy efficiency markets. The successful candidate will have a strong background in economics, engineering, law, or a related field, and will be responsible for providing technical assistance and financial/economic expertise to support the European Commission/CINEA in the development and management of the EU Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer the development of national energy efficiency markets, addressing national barriers to unlock the set-up of appropriate financial instruments and/or support programmes combining public and private finance.
  • Provide comprehensive and integrated financing solutions, maximising the benefits of public funding, while leveraging private financing into energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with public authorities and relevant stakeholders, including financial institutions and energy-efficiency related businesses, operating at EU and national levels.

Requirements:

  • Relevant economic, engineering, legal or technical education (university degree, post-graduate level)
  • At least C1 level in English, in the Common European Framework for Reference for Languages, and C2 for the national language of the specific Member State they cover
