Our team consists of specialists in Engagement Management for high-value proposals, Project Managers dedicated to ensuring successful project delivery, and technical experts from our Resident Solution Architects, Solution Consultants, and Data Scientists teams.

Role Summary: The Senior Director of Professional Services is pivotal in ensuring customer success by driving outcomes through the execution of professional services engagements and training.
Responsibilities: This leadership position oversees a critical business unit for Professional Services in the EMEA South region, which includes key markets. The role reports to the AVP of Professional Services, who manages all Professional Services and Training for customers across the EMEA region.
Team Leadership: The Senior Director will lead a regional team that includes Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Resource Managers, Architects, and Consultants.
Business Management: You will oversee both the Sales and Delivery aspects of the business to maximize the value customers derive from the Databricks platform and our services. This includes positioning and preparing for the delivery and follow-up of our professional services and training engagements.
Strategic Development: You will be the business owner of Professional Services, Architecture, and Training in the EMEA South region. Additionally, you will support the development of our Delivery Partner and Accredited Training Partner programs, fostering executive relationships with Partners and System Integrators for scalability.
Performance Metrics: You will be responsible for playbooks, all Professional Services, Architecture, and Training offerings, and pricing, including bookings, revenue, utilization, and ROI.
Qualifications: A proven track record of success in Customer Success, Customer Engineering, or Services leadership roles is essential. Experience in the Data and AI domain, particularly with large customers, is crucial for realizing business value through production implementations.
Experience: Approximately 10+ years in senior customer-facing roles that require a blend of influencing, validating, understanding, execution, and trust-building.
