As a Home Care Assistant or Life Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and independence of our clients. You will build meaningful relationships based on trust and respect, ensuring their comfort and safety within their homes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide companionship and engage in stimulating activities to combat isolation and promote a positive living environment.
- Assist with essential household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
- Offer support with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance (for Life Assistants).
- Accompany clients to appointments and errands, ensuring their safe and comfortable transportation.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dining, promoting healthy eating habits.
- Engage in light exercise and walks, encouraging physical activity and well-being.
- No formal qualifications are required for Home Care Assistants.
- Life Assistants require a recognized diploma in health and social care (e.g., ADVF Title, BEP Health and Social Careers, Bac Pro ASSP, CAP Early Childhood, Life Assistants, AMP, AES...).
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for both roles.
- Full-time or part-time employment options available.
