About the Role:
Axens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Automation and Industrial Computing projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate project teams to deliver automation and industrial computing projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute project activities, including procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with Axens' quality, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including programming, configuration, and testing of automation systems.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Automation and Industrial Computing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on automation and industrial computing.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and distributed control systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
