Zuma Cannes, a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, is seeking an experienced Sushiman to join our team. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will play a vital role in creating unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sushiman to lead our Maki section and contribute to our reputation for serving high-quality sushi dishes. As a Sushiman at Zuma Cannes, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of chefs and hospitality professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation by preparing sushi dishes according to recipes and maintaining consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Lead the Maki section and train Chef de Parties to maintain the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and handling of sushi equipment, minimizing breakages and ensuring smooth operation.
  • Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas, ensuring all practices meet our rigorous standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a sushiman in a luxury high-volume restaurant.
  • Proven track record of consistently delivering high-quality sushi dishes and leading a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Naturally friendly, customer-oriented, and skilled at creating memorable dining experiences.
