Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Associate to join our team in Chalon-sur-Saône. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
  • Perform general ledger maintenance, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including preparing and analyzing financial reports
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
