Food Service Support Associate

Auburn-Washburn Unified School District is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lunch Aide. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, happy, and friendly cafeteria environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Food Service Manager in developing and maintaining a positive and professional cafeteria climate.
- Support the daily operations of the cafeteria, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and parents.
- Collaborate with the Food Service Manager to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a food service or customer-facing role preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
