Our innovative approach is based on a novel superconducting qubit, the Schrödinger cat qubit, which boasts autonomous quantum error correction capabilities.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist - Classical Error Correction to join our team. As a key member of our theory team, you will collaborate closely with experimental teams to design and develop superior fault-tolerant schemes for our bosonic processors. Your work will have a direct impact on our hardware roadmap, driving the development of a fault-tolerant quantum computer.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of Alice & Bob's fault-tolerant architecture, including QEC schemes, fault-tolerant logical gate designs, and more.
- Collaborate with the Hardware design & analysis team to assess the performance of proposed architectures using realistic hardware modeling and noise models.
- Develop internal architecture performance analysis tools to support the development of our fault-tolerant quantum computer.
- PhD in Classical Error Correction or a related field (Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.).
- 3+ years of research experience in the field or equivalent experience, including publishing academic papers as a lead author and participating in top conferences in Classical Error Correction.
- Expertise in classical error correcting codes, with knowledge of quantum error correction a plus.
