About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Murex Application Specialist to join our team in France. As a specialist, you will be embedded with our clients' team and work on various projects in the Capital Market, Trading System, Business expertise and support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing the Murex Methodology/ Model in the confirmation and matching of transactions, settlements and payments.
  • Working directly with customers to scope, gather, review, create and implement their business / functional requirements.
  • Configuring MxML workflow in Murex to manage trade validation, confirmation and events.
  • Collaborating with the Murex system and its users to test implementation, achieve signoff (UAT), and continue to move the system toward go-live.
  • Supporting clients with the development of their own internal project plan, including identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline and scheduling, as well as resource requirements.
  • Providing training to users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.
  • Assisting in system integration, data migration and implementation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's Degree from a Financial Engineering, Business Analysis, Computational Finance, or Computer Science related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience on workflow configuration/ development in Murex to manage trade validation, confirmation and events, including MxML Exchange, trade flows, confirmation generation, payment flows.
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, XML is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming.
  • Strong knowledge and functional experience on various asset classes, e.g. FX MM, IRD, EQD.
  • Ability to write functional and business specifications with the ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities.
  • A proven track record of client servicing, understanding customer needs and building effective relationships.
  • Strong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.
Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
