Accounting Professional Wanted

BDO Luxembourg is seeking a skilled Accounting professional to join our team. As an experienced Accountant, you will be working with a diverse client portfolio, mainly consisting of local businesses and international companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert accounting services to clients, including financial statement preparation, tax return preparation, and financial analysis;
  • Support clients with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting;
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and the team, providing guidance on financial matters;
  • Participate in internal continuous improvement initiatives, implementing new tools and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in accounting or finance;
  • Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role;
  • Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and VAT;
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines;
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with a sense of responsibility;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients;
  • Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Office;
  • Fluency in French and English.
