Job Summary
As a Quality Control Analyst at International Flavors & Fragrances, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This exciting opportunity will challenge you to utilize your analytical skills and attention to detail to perform lab tests and inspections, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical, physical, and organoleptic analysis of raw products based on written procedures.
- Verify equipment functionality and perform minor maintenance as assigned.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of retained samples.
- Utilize computerized inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel for data input and retrieval.
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping according to Good Laboratory Practices.
- Apply EHS and Food Safety Practices while performing job functions.
- Contribute to the advancement of IFF's Quality organization through additional responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field (chemistry, biology, food science, etc.) or High School Diploma with 1-2 years of experience in Food Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of basic math, science, and quality terminology.
- Proficiency in using computers and database tools such as Microsoft Access and Excel.
- Able to identify and resolve inspection errors.
