Product Strategy Specialist

Emblem Cannabis Corporation, a division of Aleafia, is seeking a highly skilled Product Strategy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commercial and regulatory teams, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and enhancing product performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage project charters for Ops, PD, and QA teams.
- Manage the lifecycle of existing products, recommending improvements, extensions, and new ideas.
- Forecast unit monthly sales for Rec and Medical products.
- Advise on COGS, MSRP, and landed pricing, with ownership of target dates for launches.
- Assist in preparing pitches for new product SKUs to provincial boards.
- Provide subcategory reviews of Canadian and US products.
- Manage GS1-related products for commercial and medical teams.
- Assist with listing submissions and merchandiser reviews in collaboration with Category Managers.
- Support the development of labels, images, QA documentation, CR documentation, GS1, and NNCP submissions.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships with suppliers.
- Create and manage process improvement tools for cross-functional teams.
- Review, image, and design labels and templates.
- Post-secondary education is required.
- Bachelor's degree is an asset.
- 2-4 years' experience in a relevant industry (food and beverage, CPG, Pharmaceutical).
- Product launch experience.
- Cannabis industry experience is not required but is considered an asset.
