About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team at Otis College of Art and Design. As an Elevator Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and other lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain elevators and other lifting equipment in accordance with safety codes and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts and inspecting equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in elevators and other lifting equipment.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure smooth operation of elevators and other lifting equipment.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience in the elevator industry, preferably in installation or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Physical stamina to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
