About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our internal control processes, controlling expenses reports, and managing the purchases chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Volta's internal control processes.
- Control expenses report according to our travel policy.
- Purchases chain management (from the purchase order to the payment).
- Assist the finance department in daily tasks for France and US entities.
- Create new vendors.
- Bookkeeping.
- Manage bank transactions.
- Handle invoices and expenses reports.
- Manage sales transactions.
- Collect manager's approvals before payment.
- Prepare cash transfer orders.
- Assist with monthly closing for France and US entities.
- Manage fixed assets and inventory.
- Assist with VAT calculation.
- Assist in collecting documents during the audit.
Requirements
- Graduate from a DCG / At least a Bachelor's degree (BAC +3).
- At least 1 year of experience within a CPA Office.
- Organized with good communication skills.
- Strong sense of confidentiality and a team player attitude.
- Knowledge of French accounting standards (USGAAP would be a plus).
- Mastery of tax rules.
- Comfortable with Excel and dematerialization software (Yooz, Lucca).
- Quadra user.
- English speaker.
