Position Overview
Faurecia's Headquarters is seeking a HQ Financial Controller. This role will be based in Nanterre and will report directly to the HQ Controlling Director, collaborating within a team of three professionals.
The successful candidate will join a global network of Controllers, providing an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of Faurecia's processes and organizational structure, particularly within top management and corporate functions. This position will facilitate interactions across Faurecia's worldwide operations, enhancing your internal visibility and networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a business partner for corporate departments, overseeing the financial closing processes with the support of the Controlling Support Platform in Portugal for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Participate in the preparation of actual reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes for the HQ scope, including Opex, Cash, and Capex.
- Conduct variance analysis between budget/forecast and actual results, and present monthly results to corporate budget owners and senior management.
- Implement optimization and cost reduction initiatives within the HQ scope.
- Develop and maintain efficient reporting and performance analysis tools for HQ functions and departments.
- Oversee internal control processes for the Nanterre HQ and act as the primary contact for external audits.
- Facilitate the purchasing process for the assigned scope.
- Supervise closing tasks, including invoices and accruals, in collaboration with the Controlling Support Platform in Portugal.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in controlling or a similar corporate role.
- A degree from a business school with a focus on finance or a master's degree in finance, controlling, or audit.
- Experience in an international and diverse working environment.
- Strong ability to engage with C-level executives.
- Demonstrated autonomy and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in team management and navigating a matrix organization.
- Proficiency in SAP Finance and controlling solutions, as well as consolidation tools.
- A mindset geared towards process transformation and tool improvement.
- Rigorous, adaptable, and dependable.
- Minimum bilingual proficiency, with English as a requirement.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
