Job Description:

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the General Director of Services, taking charge of the integration among various operational and resource departments. Your primary focus will be to ensure a unified strategy for organizational transformation within a collaborative administration. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of 10 departments and services, each addressing critical technical and infrastructural needs.

  • Direct technical initiatives in partnership with elected officials and the General Director, offering insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Oversee all public facility investments and infrastructure projects at both municipal and inter-municipal levels, guiding them from conception through to completion.
  • Administer contracts with municipal leaders and external service providers, ensuring compliance and performance standards.
  • Manage human and financial resources dedicated to technical services, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the budget planning and execution processes for the various departments.
  • Supervise a team of 10 department heads, fostering collaboration and streamlined operations.
  • Effectively communicate and advocate for departmental projects and initiatives.
  • Work closely with the executive team to align on strategic objectives and initiatives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in local government operations, complemented by strong analytical capabilities and a knack for delivering practical solutions. Your proficiency in public policy and building institutional partnerships, combined with a collaborative leadership approach, will be key to your success.
