Position Overview:
The Product Management Division is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of product management related to L-Acoustics' offerings, including Loudspeakers, Electronics, Software, Services, and Solutions. This division plays a crucial role in defining product specifications, crafting strategic roadmaps, and managing the entire product development lifecycle from initial concept through to market launch.
The Head of Electronics Product Management will lead the Electronics segment within Product Management, guiding and nurturing a team of skilled Product & Technology Marketing Engineers alongside Application Design Engineers focused on our Electronics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate across functions with R&D, Application Project, and Sales-Business Development teams. Specifically, with the support of a dedicated team of Product & Technology Marketing Engineers and Application Design Engineers:
- Research & Analysis: Establish success metrics, perform market research, competitive analysis, and SWOT assessments.
- Product & Market Strategy: Convert business objectives into product strategies, formulate product roadmaps, and ensure alignment with market demands.
- Product Development & Lifecycle Management: Create comprehensive product specifications, liaise with R&D, assess new technologies, and supervise product development.
- Support & Advocacy: Champion products through marketing initiatives, training sessions, and customer engagement.
- Key-user Engagement: Interact with key users for market insights and sustain relationships with industry influencers.
- Communication & Reporting: Develop strategies for communicating product roadmaps and progress on releases.
- Leadership & Team Development: Oversee and cultivate a diverse team, establish objectives, and provide necessary training.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering or business.
- Over 10 years of leadership experience in product management within a dynamic, high-growth premium environment, preferably with Electronics solutions.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring a team of product managers.
- In-depth knowledge of audio technology and the professional audio sector.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for effective collaboration across teams and building robust relationships with customers and partners.
- Market Leader Mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
