About the Role

The Head of Product Marketing will be responsible for leading the Product Marketing function at Tellent, empowering the regional commercial & marketing teams to execute revenue growth initiatives in line with the commercial strategy.

As the leader of this team, the Head of Product Marketing will be responsible for enabling their team to drive the creation and enablement of comprehensive go-to-markets playbooks and campaigns that effectively promote our products, drive demand, build thought leadership, and ultimately contribute to revenue growth.

The Head of Product Marketing will own the team's KPIs, output, prioritization, and representation.

About the Team

The Marketing team at Tellent consists of over 20 professionals, distributed across our primary regions: DACH, France, and the Benelux.

Your 12-Month Journey

During the first 3 months, the Head of Product Marketing will gain in-depth knowledge of our Tellent suite, understand our internal processes, and identify the Product Marketing status quo.

Within 6 months, the Head of Product Marketing will be fully empowered to start shaping things the way they see fit.

After 1 year, the Head of Product Marketing will be considered the go-to person when it comes to Product Marketing at Tellent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Product Marketing function at Tellent
  • Take full ownership of the team, setting it up for short and long-term success
  • Work on establishing a prioritization framework to ensure the team knows what to focus on
  • Establish solid relationships and communication avenues with the Product and Commercial stakeholders
  • Manage a team of 4 and report directly to the VP of Marketing
Requirements
  • At least 7+ years of Product Marketing experience (mix of IC and management roles)
  • Proficiency in collaborating with Product and commercial teams to define and iterate Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) as well as Product Positioning
  • Experience aligning with mature Product teams to ensure product evolution aligns with customer needs
  • Experience in leveraging Product Marketing to enhance Growth teams (via messaging frameworks, product-led growth motions, etc.)
  • Experience partnering with the sales team, reviewing performance metrics, discussing challenges, and developing strategies to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey positioning, messaging, and sales content effectively
  • 3+ years of Team management experience
