Smeetz is a forward-thinking startup focused on unified commerce powered by artificial intelligence. Our goal is to transform how tourist attractions manage their sales and enhance their revenue streams. We offer a comprehensive solution for event organizers, including theme parks, museums, and theaters, to effectively manage, market, and price their offerings.

We are in search of a driven and results-focused commercial attaché. This role presents a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant team and play a significant role in expanding our solution within the French market.

The position is available immediately and provides flexible working arrangements, primarily based in a collaborative workspace, with substantial travel (around 70% of the time) across France and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Director of France to formulate and execute sales strategies tailored for the French market.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business prospects through various channels, including phone outreach, emails, and networking.
  • Generate and qualify leads to establish a robust sales pipeline, emphasizing phone outreach as a key method for establishing connections and presenting our offerings.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the advantages of our solutions and address customer requirements.
  • Engage in networking events, trade exhibitions, and conferences both in France and internationally.
  • Collaborate closely with account managers to ensure successful onboarding and identify opportunities for upselling.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass weekly and monthly targets related to scheduled meetings and demonstrations.
  • Gain a deep understanding of key competitors, assess their sales tactics, and pinpoint opportunities to position our products effectively.
  • Participate in both internal and external training sessions to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and market insights.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a business school or equivalent educational background.
  • Extensive sales experience in a comparable role, ideally within the technology sector, is a significant advantage.
  • Fluency in French (native) and proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, capable of presenting complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong skills in networking and relationship building.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel as required by the role.
  • Experience in crafting and delivering engaging product presentations.
  • A passion for challenges and a proven ability to meet critical KPIs such as call volume and qualified meetings.
  • Ability to think innovatively and devise creative solutions.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
