Marketing Professor Position at SKEMA Business School

SKEMA Business School invites applications for a position as Assistant and/or Associate Professor and/or Full Professor rank in Marketing to begin August 2024. The successful candidate will develop and/or lead academic research projects with the aim of publishing in the field's highest-quality journals.

Research Focus

We encourage applications from scholars that pursue research projects in the marketing field. The activities in research are undertaken as a part of the research group MINT center (Market Interactions; https://www.skema.edu/faculty-and-research/marketing/presentation-mint) characterized by a multimethod approach to marketing.

Teaching and Service

The candidate may be asked to teach online or on campus-based undergraduate and/or graduate level courses. The candidate is expected to contribute to student mentorship, to projects related to SKEMA SKY25 corporate strategy, and to be actively engaged in other service initiatives, including student selection processes.

Qualifications
  • A Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field
  • Have a strong research orientation and track record, as demonstrated by a publication track record in highly regarded management journals (e.g., FT list) or show potential (for the position of Assistant Professor)
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collegial environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Commitment to service and/or outreach activities
