The RoleThe Senior Technology Trainer is a vital member of our Technology team, responsible for providing high-level technology training to lawyers and professional staff. This role involves working with local and global teams to design, develop, and deliver training services that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Training Delivery: Provide expert training to end-users on firm-approved applications, utilizing various methods such as classroom learning, webinars, remote sessions, and one-to-one support.
- Consultation and Support: Work with attorneys and business services staff to understand their process and workflow needs, and identify opportunities for Latham Technology to support them.
- Training Needs Analysis: Identify training needs and ensure that individuals receive the correct resources to meet their requirements.
- Training Materials Development: Prepare training materials, including handouts, follow-up notes, and written documentation.
- Training Coordination: Schedule and coordinate training sessions, including booking spaces, arranging audio-visual equipment, and confirming attendance.
- Global Training Alignment: Work with the Global Technology Training team to ensure consistent training delivery firm-wide, and assist with software upgrades, implementations, and wider projects.
- Experience: Ideal candidates will have experience in training and/or teaching, preferably in software, and a background in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in a range of software programs, including Windows 10, Microsoft Office (latest versions), document management systems, timekeeping software, and communications technologies (InTapp and Microsoft Teams, specifically).
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and French is essential, with Spanish and/or Italian language skills highly desirable.
- Travel: Ability to travel to other offices as required.
