Job Description

The Emergency Preparedness Program Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing emergency preparedness plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading committees responsible for identifying and developing specific needs associated with various emergency scenarios.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, emergency preparedness planning, and leadership skills. They will be responsible for managing various emergency preparedness projects, implementing and educating the Healthcare Incident Command System (HICS), and serving as an on-call resource for emergency preparedness.

The Emergency Preparedness Program Manager will also participate in the development of the entity's Emergency Operations Plan, ensure all departments have current information regarding regulatory emergency management standards, and maintain compliance. They will work closely with the Senior Director of Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity, the entity-based Emergency Preparedness leader, and other key entity and system leaders.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, project management experience, and three to five years of relevant experience in healthcare. They will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, effective leadership skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
