Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the battery manufacturing sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing cost estimates and planning for complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and present cost plans for construction projects
- Estimate costs at conceptual, programming, and detailed levels
- Assist in feasibility studies and procurement report writing
- Manage procurement activities, including bid analysis and contract document compilation
- Participate in post-contract cost variance and change control processes
- Perform cost checks and valuations on larger projects
- Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present to clients
- Provide input into value engineering and negotiate final accounts
- Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants throughout project stages
- Lead cost management teams and ensure delivery of accountabilities
- Identify opportunities for new business with existing clients and report to line managers
- Contribute to the development of cost management procedures, templates, and products
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cost estimating
- Experience in construction, industrial, battery, semi-conductors, pharma, and/or manufacturing sectors
- Knowledge of MEP and clean/dry rooms is an advantage
- RICS or equivalent accreditation (or working towards)
- Good technical experience in all cost management areas
- Good understanding of mechanical, process, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Experience leading cost management on medium or large-sized construction projects
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills
- Great organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Hands-on attitude and willingness to spend time on construction sites
- French and English language skills
