Cost Management Specialist

Aecon International is seeking a talented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in streamlining project costs and mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze contract conditions and qualifications to ensure compliance with building regulations.
- Assist in drafting and negotiating contract types before tender submission.
- Ensure timely submission of interim applications, including executed works, on-site materials, and subcontractor works.
- Assess and recover contract variations to maintain high standards of quality.
- Participate in weekly financial forecasting and compile contract costs.
- Maintain accurate records of contract variations and generate profitability reports.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale construction projects ($200 Million +).
- Understanding of the international market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
