We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Pricing Officer to join our team at Ressources Mutuelles Assistance.
Responsibilities- Lead pricing business cases and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with marketing strategy and value proposition to maximize market penetration.
- Develop pricing proposals for new products and services.
- Initiate pricing strategies to secure market position and penetrate new markets.
- Develop internal tools to monitor strategy and pricing.
- Align pricing strategies with market dynamics and business objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Work closely with industrial controlling to track movements in costs.
- Analyze price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels.
- Coordinate/lead the entire process on tender submission.
- Support tender submission and secure high success in submission. Acts as key gatekeeper on pricing control.
- Provide insightful analysis of Tenders/contracts/opportunities Post Mortem as well as overview of market potential/opportunities.
- Be proactive in tender preparation in collaboration with sales and supply by analyzing on regular basis tender calendar (presentation to Sales and Marketing a quarter analysis).
- Provide data to challenge sales budget by anticipating upcoming tenders and price impact.
- Work closely with several other departments, including sales, sales administration, marketing, finance & operation & distributor to perform.
- Keep track of the tender submission results.
- Monitor strategy comparing budget versus 5YP to ensure the alignments inform Marketing team to find corrective actions.
- Quarter analysis of budget versus 5YP to be presented to Marketing team.
- Track market trends and keep up to date on prices set by competitors.
- Stay updated with pricing best practices and market dynamics, working closely with Market Intelligence and Data team.
- Work in close co-ordination with Strategic and Lifecycle Marketing and Sales to ensure the success of your pricing strategy.
- Monitor and report on pricing performance and competitiveness, working closely with Market Intelligence and Data Division who monitors ongoing business environment (trends in sales, markets) to draw conclusions about performance in order to recommend improvement to pricing strategies and tactics.
- Work closely with industrial controlling & commercial controlling.
- Collaborate with Regulatory affairs department being the link with Sales.
- Graduate with a Business School or equivalent master degree.
- Experience in marketing & finance (5 years).
- Experience in the Health Industry / Medical Devices Industry.
- Experiences in B to B business management.
- Fluent in English and another language proficiency will be an asset.
- Computer experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook, master in Excel.
- Strong knowledge of various decisioning environments and technology solutions.
- Experienced in financial services, including understanding of marketing fundamentals an asset.
