Logistics Internship Overview

The Logistics division at RATP EPIC plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the prompt, accurate, and quality delivery of operational components while complying with established procedures and safety protocols.

  • Receiving goods (monitoring shipments, conducting quality assessments upon arrival, handling disputes and discrepancies...)
  • Inventory management
  • Preparation of orders for various internal stakeholders
  • Management of returns
  • Handling of waste materials

The objective of the Logistics team is to meet the needs of internal stakeholders by enhancing company performance, which includes process improvements, tool upgrades, training initiatives, and innovations aimed at minimizing waste.

Role Responsibilities

In a context focused on industrialization and performance enhancement, the Logistics intern will support the Logistics Manager and the logistics team in three primary areas:

ENSURING DAILY PART AVAILABILITY

  • Assist the Logistics Manager in managing daily operations: Organizing tasks within the logistics team, implementing performance indicators for daily monitoring, and contributing to logistics team activities.

ENHANCING PROCESS RELIABILITY AND STRENGTH

  • Assist in identifying and resolving issues while improving processes. Centralize and document challenges, conduct root cause analyses, propose enhancements and action plans to the Logistics Manager, and support the operational team in executing daily logistics functions while ensuring adherence to logistics standards and safety regulations.

BOOSTING LOGISTICS PRODUCTIVITY AND CAPACITY

  • Engage in projects aimed at improving industrial performance, participate in the rollout of the logistics master plan, and support the implementation of new digital tools while assisting in budget oversight.
