We engage in the development and industrialization of these sophisticated products and services across various market segments, including short, medium, and long-haul commercial aviation, business aviation, and regional aviation.
As we face environmental challenges and embrace digital transformation, Safran is expanding its workforce in the area of nacelle component design. Nacelles represent cutting-edge products that utilize both metallic and composite materials within a complex engine environment, governed by stringent thermal, mechanical, aerodynamic, and functional specifications.
Within our dynamic project teams, you will have the chance to engage in research, development, or provide support to production teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in collaborative engineering efforts from the project's inception.
- Performing structural analyses to size nacelle components made from composites and metals in accordance with established technical reference methodologies. This may involve executing finite element analyses or analytical calculations to pre-dimension, validate an existing component, or address production or operational challenges.
- Overseeing subcontracted calculation tasks.
- Presenting findings during project status reviews.
- Composing justification documentation.
- Leveraging gained experience for future projects.
On a daily basis, you will collaborate with various departments within the company (manufacturers, procurement, service support, etc.) as well as with our global partners and suppliers.
You will have the opportunity to enhance your expertise through professional networks and training on products and methodologies.
With several years of experience, you can direct your career towards specialization, project leadership, or team management.

Qualifications
Possession of a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience where you have cultivated knowledge in mechanics and design, preferably within the aerospace sector.
You have a keen interest in the aerospace industry. Your skill set includes mechanics, Strength of Materials, and familiarity with finite element analysis software.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and have a passion for intricate technical topics.
You are inquisitive, innovative, energetic, and proactive.
