About the Role
Reporting functionally to the Quality Head in Paris and operationally to the Project Manager, you will establish and oversee the Project Quality Management system, ensuring proactive quality support to the Project team in alignment with client expectations and quality standards.
Depending on project scale, you may lead a team of Quality Managers/Engineers throughout all project phases and areas.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Engaging proactively with the Project Management team to implement an effective Project Quality Management System across all project execution sites, including head office, vendor facilities, and yards.
- Developing and executing comprehensive system audits and quality plans as approved by your line manager.
- Fostering strong relationships with client quality representatives to communicate progress and address inquiries and challenges.
- Advocating for a quality-centric culture on the project/site, promoting best practices and continuous enhancement of quality standards.
- Actively participating in risk assessment workshops related to the project.
- Implementing a robust corrective and preventive action system, ensuring timely closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and waiver requests.
- Assisting in defining project objectives and metrics (KPIs), analyzing performance, and recommending corrective measures.
- Leading or participating in investigations to resolve quality issues, conducting root cause analyses, and ensuring effective execution of corrective actions.
- Coordinating a functional quality network among operating units to ensure project alignment.
- Facilitating the Lessons Learned and Feedback process throughout the project lifecycle to capture and communicate insights and best practices.
- Supporting discipline teams in developing and approving project procedures, including the Discipline Quality Plan.
- Providing training and awareness on quality activities planned for the project.
- Ensuring proper implementation of criticality rating systems and surveillance for procured items.
- Verifying that only approved suppliers and subcontractors are utilized.
- Ensuring that project Client Satisfaction Surveys are conducted as scheduled.
- Assisting in defining project objectives and metrics (KPIs), ensuring reporting mechanisms are in place, analyzing performance, and proposing improvement actions.
- Supporting the development of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and reviewing site procedures and Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
About You
- You are a technician or graduate engineer specializing in Quality/Quality Control Management, with substantial experience in industrial projects covering Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
- You have served as a Project Quality Manager, with experience in yards and construction sites.
- You hold an ISO 9001:2015 Auditor certification.
- You possess knowledge and experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- You have experience within a formal Management System and in managing teams.
- You exhibit a team-oriented spirit and thrive in a multicultural environment.
- You are fluent in English, with proficiency in French being an advantage.
