Practice Head

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a leading IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization with a rich history of partnering with top businesses in their transformation journeys. TCS France has been serving over 80 customers in France for over 28 years, with a strong presence in innovation centers and delivery centers.

TCS France has consistently delivered double-digit growth for over 5 years, supporting customers in digital transformation, data, and cloud journeys. We are now seeking a Practice Head to drive our growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a market-visible practice
  • Support critical projects with skills and governance & customer-facing
  • Contribute to presales activities (solution development)
  • Connect associates to relevant TCS Global practices
  • Maintain high utilization of the community working with Global Resources Manager
  • Enable fluidity of associates working with business units
  • Engage continuously with all associates of the community through town halls/events/1to1/digital platforms
  • Work with Talent Development team to plan, develop, and manage skills (Cross-skill /Up-skill). Alignment to Business needs and skills evolution in the industry
  • Associate Career guidance by coaching and act as an anchor for the associate in the company
  • Develop associate belongingness / Bond to TCS
  • Execute performance management process for the associates in the community
Requirements
  • Leadership skills to manage 100+ strong skills group
  • Strong Interpersonal skills & People Management skills
  • Possess Domain or Technology skills of the community managed
  • Prior experience of managing skills-based community is an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of Service Delivery in global context
  • Ability to connect to Alliances / Partners
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other functional groups within the organization
  • Ability to manage & resolve conflicts
  • French/English language proficiency
